European Day of Historic Gardens 2025
The VI European Day of Historic Gardens is held under the slogan “A Europe of United Gardens” again. On this day, we encourage you to explore Europe’s garden heritage and reflect on its role in the future.
The aim of this unique event is to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the European Route of Historic Gardens and to promote the heritage of historic gardens as an essential part of Europe’s cultural landscape. We invite you to visit the park of the Sarny Castle Park and the garden of Pałac Kamieniec near Kłodzko, immerse yourself in their rich history, and explore the enchanting grounds of the Włodzica River Valley. It is also worth checking out the free ebooks by the Eduard Petzold European Centre for Garden Art. One of them, Europe of United Gardens, served as a direct inspiration for this year’s theme of the European Day of Historic Gardens. Our publications offer a unique perspective on garden art and encourage reflection on the role of historic gardens in the future.

This garden was restored according to a design by Łukasz Przybylak between 2013 and 2015.
