The V European Day of Historic Gardens is held under the slogan “A Europe of United Gardens” again. On this day, we encourage you to explore Europe’s garden heritage and reflect on its role in the future.
The aim of this unique event is to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the European Route of Historic Gardens, of which the Sarny Castle is a member, and to promote the heritage of historic gardens as an important cultural element of Europe. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the rich history and beauty of the Sarny Castle Park through a self-guided tour and exploring the enchanting grounds of the Włodzica River Valley. Highlights of the day include sharing of free ebooks by the Eduard Petzold European Centre for Garden Art. One of them is “A Europe of United Gardens”, which was a direct inspiration for this year’s theme of the European Day of Historic Gardens. These books offer insights into the world of garden art, providing a unique perspective on the cultural significance of European gardens and encourage reflection on its role in the future.
The full program of events and special materials of the V European Day of Historic Gardens are available on the website of the European Route of Historic Gardens.
